Christ Church North Adelaide

Welcome to historic Christ Church North Adelaide.

Designed by Henry Stuckey, the story of Christ Church began on Ascension Day 1848 when the first Bishop of Adelaide Dr Augustus Short laid it's foundation stone.

For many years Christ Church was adopted by Bishop Short as his Pro-Cathedral. the Bishop's chair still stands in the sanctuary.
